Guyana celebrated Mining Week 2007 during the period19th - 25th August. 2.007 under The theme "Promoting Exploration, Improved Mineral Recovery, Safety and Environmental Management in Mining” Among Some events planned to mark this occasion was the National Mining Exhibition, held on the 20th and 21st August, 2007 at the National Museum, and the Parade Ground, Georgetown which showcased aspects of Mining, Macorp took part in this Exhibition at the Parade Ground where we displayed various Machines, Generating Sets, Genuine Caterpillar Parts, and many other Caterpillar Products. Our Exhibit attracted a number of customers including Mr. Michael Vieira, Mr. Claude Adams, Mr. Orlando Adams, Mr. Trevor Daniels, and representatives from West Kaburi Mining, The Ministry of Agriculture (National Drainage and Irrigation) and also the honourable visit of our Prime Minister, Mr. Samuel Hinds.
